Peek() Syntax

Wondering if there's a difference in what's returned when using (or not using) single quotes with the 'peek' function and if so, what that difference is. Ex: Peek(datefield) vs Peek('datefield') ?

In my opinion, you should always use quotes.  The fact that it works without quotes (in a Load statement only) is only a bit of an accident.
