Possible to target SPECIFIC objects with filter pane?

If I have (for example) two bar charts:

Can I add a year filter that ONLY filters one of the two charts?

What if I want to have two year filters?

One for the left chart and a separate filter for the right chart?

Can I do selective targeting so I pick and choose which objects are effected by which filter pane?

Thanks!

Hi Josh,

Have a look at below:

QlikView How To (or Tips & Tricks) Application by Lee Matthews

So it looks like for Qlik Sense an extension is required to allow this functionality?

The ability to target filtering to specific objects is NOT supported out of the box?

*Thanks for the link

I looked at that, but isn't that for Qlik VIEW only not Sense?

Thanks!

Hi Josh -

Currently - Alternate States in not out of the Box for Qlik Sense -  This feature is on the Road Map for Qlik Sense to have this integrated into the platform - but I am unsure of when this will happen.

As Qlik Sense is designed to be Embedded & Extended, beyond it's out of the box capabilities - http://branch.qlik.com

is a good place to visit for these types of Extensions.

Comparative Analysis - Alternate States with Qlik Sense gives a good overview of how this works.
