Previous year calculation

Hi, I'm trying to set a Pivot table in one sheet that includes Actual period and Last year period for the same dimension in order to calculate a growing percentage. However I can't get previous year information (See attached file) only for the dimension that have the actual date.

I have customer in Rows, period in columns... So when I have a column saying, (e.g.) 1/1/17, the previous year information doesn't pop up.. Just the actual period data.

You might need to use The As-Of Table or look at Missing Manual - Above() and Below()

Hi Adrian,

You can't get the previous data based on the specific date.

Instead of using actual Date as selection or column, you can use Day.

To get Day of date:

Day(Period) as Day
