Problem converting Rolling 12 Months chart from QlikView to QlikSense

Hi All,

I am currently facing an issue when I converted my QlikView (QV) file to QlikSense (QS). I had a chart wherein if I selected a month the chart would display previous 12 months data starting from that month. This was working perfectly fine in QV. (Refer attached qvw file)

However, when I converted that to QS, the same stopped working. I tried recreating the variables and chart in QS but in vein.

Can anyone please let me know why this strange behavior in QS?

Please note that I have used QS version 2.1.1+Build:22 since the older versions did not support Variables (Front End Variables which are not created via Edit Script).

HI Mahesh

U dont have R12 i the qvw, you need to chage the dimension to a combined Year&Month ( ex. 2015-08 ) i the Master calender. If u dont have a Master Calender i highly recument creating one.

Give the Attached file a look. in the file u fine different sulutions to R12, YTD, MTD

The expression also work just fine in Qlik Sense.
