If possible protect the app in qlik sense desktop (no edit, only view)?

You won't find what you are looking for in the Qlik Sense desktop as it is is delivered without any security management features.

However you could try to experiment with the windows security rights for the qvf file, giving the end users only read and execute access to the file.
