Publish and duplicate buttons greyed out for some apps

I duplicated one of the apps that I have published. Now when I am trying to publish it, the "publish" button is greyed out. Even the "duplicate" button is greyed out.

For other apps, they are not greyed out, and I have the option to publish to streams. What could be causing this?

It is probably limitations on your user rights.

Make sure you have the correct rights from security rules on those applications where you get the greyed out buttons.

I figured it out from some internal documentation. In the Qlik Sense hub, I had to right click the app, select properties, then I had to manually add specific App Security and Group values.

The general publishing documentation could be updated.
