Qlik DataTransfer on Windows 10

Hi everyone!

I read on the help page of Qlik  (https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-admin/February2021/Subsystems/DeployAdministerQSE/Content/Sense_De... ) :

"For development and testing purposes only: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit version only)"

and I try to install and run the Qlik DataTransfer.

I have installed the tool, but when I run it it's only displaying a complete white window. I looked in the logs it says that it cannot find server.pfx and client.pfx certificates.

There are no such files in any Qlik directory on my machine (Windows 10, 64bit).

Where can I generate this files and how - if I only have Qlik Sense Desktop installed on my development machine?

Thank you,

Ben

Hello @sxtm

Seems like you have issues with your machine self signed certificates.

Please refer to below article:

Hi,

Thank you for the quick response.

I already saw the article before. But I don't have an 'ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository' directory. I don't have Qlik Sense Repository module installed on my machine. So, I have no pre-generated/existent Qlik certificates.

It is sufficient to generate my own self signed certificates and install them in the right Windows place?

Thanks,

Ben
