Qlik Desktop installation Error -2349

Hi,

 I am getting below error when install Qlik Desktop. Please advise what the error message and how overcome and successfully install the Qlik Desktop.

There is something negatively affecting the installer. There is a lot of information online, e.g. http://www.wiki-errors.com/err.php?wiki=2349, with possible steps to fix the issue.

I would suggest that you first try this: restart your computer, download the .exe file again, run it as administrator and turn off your anti virus software to see if it would work.

Also in addition to Ivan's answer. Could you give us the log files of your Sense Desktop installation, they might give us the exact line where the installer fails.

You will find the files in:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\

and they should be named

Qlik_Sense_Desktop_November_*.log
