Hi ,
I have a strange issue that I never seen. Can anyone help me to understand what's causing this please?
I have duplicated an app and loaded with new data set into both original and duplicated copy.
A chart on the original app is not rendering the data, where as the duplicated copy can render!
Note: The app is on enterprise hub and the objects on the app are taking some time to load and slowly loads one after the other.
To understand a bit more I did the following but I didn't get any result:
- Initially I thought it may be the data set that is not same on both apps, so I reloaded the same data set into both apps.
- I thought it may be browser cache, I cleared the cache but no result
- I thought the object might have somehow corrupted, so I deleted and re-created but no result
- I also deleted the chart and copied and pasted the working chart from the duplicated app, but still no result.
- Also, there is no question of RAM issue on the server or the client machine as there is plenty of RAM available.
I am wondering if anyone else faced the same issue and if there is a way to fix this.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks
SB
Hi SB,
can you post screenshot on your screen? what version that you used?
Regards
Marco
Hi Marco,
The version is Feb 2018 Patch 1
and the server is 12.5.3
The screenshot as I explained the chart is not populated! Due to security obligations I can't paste it here!
Thanks & Regards

Is there any concept called Data Manager / Data Model in your applications? There could be weird behavior running in your Duplicate App?
Can you try to replace the app with the duplicate app(which is working) once?
Hi Anil,
If I understood your question correctly, we are not using Data Manager to extract data/model data, Instead as in QlikView we only extract by scripting.
Thanks & Regards
SB
This is wonder, How can we understand whether how you load?
