Qlik Sense Cloud Business Microsoft SQL Server Connector

Hi

 

I am testing out connecting to our SQL Server using the Qlik  MS SQL Server Connector in Qlik Sense Cloud Business.

I am able to connecting by filling in the yellow highlighted fields (attached jpg)

My question is do we need to ensure we either tick the Trusted Connection or NTLM connection to make the connection more secure in any way or is that not necessary?

Hi Elizabeth

 

No, i didn't get an answer but worked out that you did not need to select either one to make it more secure. We did it through making it secure through our firewall and only allowing Qlik IP address through. Hope this helps.
