Qlik Sense Desktop Installation Error (1603)

1) I had a previous version of Qlik that I uninstall.

2) After 50% of the new Qlik Sense Desktop, I get the following error 1603 in the log:

So I analyse and make thousand tests based on

I am using win7 64BIT and i try to install the desktop version, but get error...

Check for uninstall Qlik and find list of Qlik things in many directories. Delete all.

Clean ProgramData\Qlik, ProgramData\Package

Check MSV redistributable

Run Qlik install with Administrator power and without antivirus running.

I used the QSD from September and November. Same problem.

What should I do ?

Hi, try Custom Installation, do not change the Installation Location (click Next) but change the Storage Location to another directory such as C:\Qlik and confirm.

I had already test this workaround. Anyway I test it again with Admin rights. Same problem.

This issue got resolved in may case by combination of -a) changing custom location for storage and b) Installing as administrator .

I changed from september2018 to february2019, and had the same error.

I solved with the installation of  the last version of C++ redistributale.

I have the same problem. I try to install VC++ redistributable for x86 and x64 2015 version but the setup fail with

The server is Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter in Aruba Hosting.
