I've stumbled upon this section of FAQ

Does my instance of Qlik Sense Desktop ever expire?

Yes, it will expire on December 31, 2014.

Is the goal of this expiration policy to keep user base on fresh version of Desktop (Like browser's evergreen model only without automatic update)

Or after January 1, 2015 there will be some sort change of licensing terms or something like this?

Hi Vadim,

You will get a notification (email, Community blogs, Support articles, etc.) with enough time to download and install the latest version. The idea is to keep with the most updated version.
