we recently decided to switch from QlikView to QlikSense. Using a local URL, we can use Qlik Sense and develop for it without any issues. As soon as we try to access it from an external URL, however, we start to get issues. After about a couple of minutes the server will drop the connection and throw the following error:
An error occurred
Connection lost. Make sure that Qlik Sense is running properly. If your session has timed out due to inactivity, refresh to continue working.

It doesn't matter if you're simply sitting on one page, or actually working on a report, it consistently disconnects after a couple of minutes. I have tried setting the HTTP-Keep-Alive Timeout to several things to no effect; I have also tried setting the Session Inactivity Timeout setting to various things, but that throws a different error, and the disconnects happen far earlier than 30 minutes in.
We just upgraded hardware as well, so it shouldn't be a server performance issue.
