Qlik Sense Heatmap Sorting

Dear all,

I am trying to create a heatmap in my application that should contain one main dimension, a couple of alternative dimensions and a couple of alternative measures.

So far, I don't have issues with adding data to the map, but I have issues with sorting the dimensions in a way so that I can get the darkest colors in the top left and the lighter colors in the bottom right and achieve some kind of a gradient effect.

Instead, I get the colors mixed up as it doesn't allow me to sort the horizontal dimensions by anything different than alphabetic...

Can someone give me an advise or an idea how to achieve the effect that I want with any kind of a workaround?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Shelly

Hi Kashyap,

Yes, it worked with a Vizlib Pivot Table and colors by measure. The only tricky thing with the coloring in the Vizlib Pivot table is that if you want to type your own expression, it needs to begin with = sign, otherwise it switches to string whatever you type and it doesn't color the cells.

I hope the above is going to be helpful for someone else as well.

Have a wonderful day you all! 🙂
