Hi,
We have a requirement to show location of our subscribers on map. We don't have any addresses just lat/lon, and there are around 100k data points plotted on the map. Because of this large data points, and no addresses its really hard to zoom into data. The data points are scattered all across the country.
What we need is a way to search locations like we do on google maps or openstreetmap website. So If I search a place like a name of a hospital it should zoom to this location.
Is there anyway to achieve this ?
Hi,
The best thing to do would be to enrich your data with addresses. Try this tool: https://maplarge.com/reversegeocoding
When you have your addresses in your data model you can add a filter pane and do a 'Google like' search. Or get the Qlik Sense inputbox and make a variable for this.
