Qlik Sense ODBC connection gets error but tests fine with excel or access

I have an ODBC connection set up that is 32bit and it tests fine and I can also use it to connect with MS Access to the tables and it opens and pulls data fine, but when I go to use it in Desktop Qlik Sense I get an error Connector Connect Error, access denied.

This is connecting to a Progress open edge Database.

Any help would be appreciated, I spent a lot of time on google and on here with no luck.

Can't you use directly using "Postgre SQL" as data source?

I did that and it does the exact same thing, it connects fine when I create the odbc but not in Qlik.

It also works fine with access and excel to pull data.
