Qlik Sense Reference Manual for Creating Measures

I was wondering if such a document exists.  I am trying to create measures using simple algebraic functions combining multiple variables loaded separately, however, I'm not familiar with the syntax and looking for a director or reference guide.

For instance, if I wanted to represent a new variable as a ratio of two separate variables, would I enter: NUM(SUM(AKTax)/above(sum(Pop_AK)),'#.0%')?

When I do so, I get null values.
