Qlik Sense: Showing Image based on selection

Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me how to show an image based on selection?

Please consider the following scenario. I need to show Employees Photos if his/her name is selected.

Thanks in advance.

Arockiya.

I asked a similar question here; Load different images dependent on selections?

(I haven't got around to testing this out, but the answers there certainly seem reasonable!)

Good luck.

Id use 2 extensions in combination

1. Media Box for Qlik Sense

to populate it dynamically via a variable use

qsVariable

to create a drop down list of your employees.  I haven't tried it myself but believe it should work.

Hi Andy, Quriouss,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

Quriouss,

Can we use the same approach in server also?

Thanks,

Arockiya.

I'm not sure, but I see no reason why not.  Just make sure you import the extensions through the QMC interface (don't just copy and paste into the directory) and you should be set to go.

Hello andy, is there any other way to download the media box extension? I'm using desktop version.

Thanks

You should be able to install extensions into the free Desktop product but you have to do it manually.

From elsewhere on QlikCommunity (@fka);

"Find the .zip file that was downloaded, and unzip it. Open the unzipped folder to find another folder inside. Copy that folder and navigate to documents/qlik/sense/extensions and paste the folder there."
