Hi Medepudi,

You could solve your problem using Ticket in Qlik Sense.

Look these links:

You can find how to structure an ODBC user directory connection here in the help.  This content will over the format of the user and attributes table as well as the connection string format.

Hello Ravin... I'd like to add that "authentication" is NOT part of the ODBC UDC - it is meant to store properties of the user that can be used for authorizations in security rules... AND DOES NOT store passwords.

You can learn more here: Qlik Sense Platform - Qlik Management Console User Directory Connector - Part 5

available form this series: Available here: New to Qlik Sense Server Videos

Custom authentication from a user table in a DB would require a custom security module - you may want to read http://help.qlik.com/sense/en-US/online/#../Subsystems/ServerDeploymentConfiguration/Content/Server/... which explains about Authentication: http://help.qlik.com/sense/en-US/online/#../Subsystems/ServerDeploymentConfiguration/Content/Server/...

Please mark the appropriate replies as CORRECT / HELPFUL so our team and other members know that your question(s) has been answered to your satisfaction.

I'd like to add to Mike's note that Qlik Sense does NOT perform authentication of any kind against any UDC.  Qlik Sense only performs authorization.
