Qlik Sense saving input from sliders

Is it somehow possible to save the selected values from the sliders (input)? I've tried to use the bookmark function but apparently it doesn't save the selected value.

I've created an app with more than 20 sliders but I can expect any client to start from scratch everytime. So I really need a solution where a client can save the selections or a solution where the app will remember the last selections when the app is opened next time.

Bookmarks work fine for this.

Make your selection. => Create a bookmark => Close & re-open application => Apply bookmark.

The application will open without any selection, but by simply clicking on the bookmark, all selections that were active when you created it, will be applied.

Strange. It doesn't work for me for some reason.

Maybe you could upload a small app which work for you (including a bookmark).

I might have misunderstood part of the question.

By sliders, which object are you referring to? Is this part of an extension?

This still shouldn't prove an issue, but I want to be able to re-create the exact problem you're facing.

Well, does the slider use a field or a variable as input?

It's a variable.

Right, I don't think bookmarks capture the values of variables - only field values.

@timpoismansdo you think that?

Indeed, as far as I know, variable values aren't stored in bookmarks.
Bookmarks only take selections on fields into account.

@kennethand I haven't used the new extensions included in November 2018 that much, but perhaps a base value of the variable is possible?
