Qlik Sense scripting

Hi,

I have been working with Qlik Sense for the past 3-4 months and have really taken to it. The extensions do a pretty good job of rendering visualizations and I have just started exploring the world of Scripting.  I have been searching online but haven't yet found the perfect place to learn about it. Can you please suggest what places I can explore to understand and learn the power of scripting in Qlik Sense?

Appreciate the help !

Malvika

Hi Malvika,

Along with QlikView 11 for Developers , you can also refer to HIC's blog‌.

Here is another doc which will help you.

Hi,

have a look at Qlik's Continuous Classroom - link below. Also scripting has not changed between View and Sense. Therefore all the QlikView books are still valid. My personal favourite is QlikView 11 for Developers. however there are many out there.

Take into account that Qlik Sense scripting = QlikView scripting (the differences are very few). That being said, have a look at this book: QlikView Scripting | PACKT Books

Hi Damian,

Thank you for sharing this, I know about QCC and have explored them a bit but access to the videos require subscriptions.

I might go with the book you suggested.

Thanks

Malvika
