Qlik Sense services not starting automatically

Hello all,

We have enabled the services to start automatically in the stratup type. But, only the Repository Database, Repository service and Scheduler service are starting automatically.Whereas, Engine service, Printing service, Proxy service and Scheduler service are not starting automatically.We need to manually start them. Can you please help us how to overcome this problem?

Hi,

It may have happened that they failed to start and thus you dont see them running.

Also check if the user password has changed for the one which is running the services.

Ive seen it set to automatic (delayed start) before perhaps its in that mode.  You will see it displayed in services.

No Andy, We have checked it. It is not set in delayed start.

We have the same issue .... the services used to start automatically after a server restart, but in the last two weeks only the Repository Database and Scheduler Service start. When we try and manually start QRS, it tries then eventually times out (The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.)
