Qlik not working on Android and iOS

Hi, despite working on Windows Phone, after I do the Login on IOS and Android devices I get either a blank screen or a "Cannot create connection" error!

Any clue about this? It is working with no problems on my Windows phone!

Best Regards,

Carlos Silva

Hi Carlos,

Are you making use of http:// or https:// . If you have not enabled the allow http in QMC under proxies settings you will not be able to use http. I would suggest you to check that and check it if not.

Thanks,

Sangram.

I'm accessing using the https:// prefix, so I believe it's not that...

Any tips?

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

I believe that you need to check the "Allow HTTP" option in QMC. Are you able o access the hub through the desktop using http:// ? If not do the changes and restart the repository database.

Once one you restart the repository database services, the changes will be applied.

Thanks,

I activated the Allow HTTP option, and I now get the login screen via the http:// address. However, after inserting the username and password I still get a blank screen with the "Cannot create connection" error!

It still works with the Windows Mobile device... the problem is just with Android and iOS!

Hi Carlos,

I would check if there is any issue with the local network blocking the site. Also check if the low files have something to say about it.

Thanks,

Sangram

Hi, I don't believe this problem are caused by the network because it works with Windows Phone and my laptop on the same wireless network.

I'm going to check the log files.

UPDATE: On Android QLIK works if using Chrome.

On iOS, with Chrome I still get the error below (translated from portuguese):

"An error ocurred

Connection lost. Verify if Qlik Sense is working correctly. If the session reaches timeout because of inactivity, refresh to keep working"

No one as a similar problem? I have a simple all-in-one QLIK Sense installation, already updated to v2.2

Hi Carlos,

Did you check the checkbox "Allow Http" in the proxy settings in the management console? If not by doing this you will be able to access the hub in an IOS device.

Thanks,

Sangram.
