to me this does not make Sense.
When installing Qlik Sense Server you automatically have the possibility to create Apps over the Browser-Window.
No need for an additional Qlik Sense Desktop version.
Depends on the OS used.
If you're running a Windows Server environment then the Qlik Sense Desktop installer won't work.
Running a Windows client os (7,8,10) than Yes, both can be installed on 1 system.
Both cant be used in the same machine you can install the both but once installed qlik sense server wont be responding
it will through 404 error there is no need of installing bot of them in the same machine in server itself you can do the development then why you want to install the desktop but when comes to qlik view you can install the both and development can be done only in desktop only
3.0+: They can both be installed onto a non-server OS, but they cannot run at the same time. In order to launch desktop you will have to stop the Qlik Sense Printing Service along with the Qlik Sense Service Dispatcher.
Pre 3.0: They can both be installed onto a non-server OS but I have had no functional issues with them running at the same time but with a limited focus on the full suite of functionality. This isn't a supported config and do expect some excessive CPU use by the Qlik Sense Printing Service.
