Bram,

I know the 5 sessions for 1 user limit of Sense.

To clarify my question, I would like to know if I am using Windows 7 Pro as the server, will max user session be limited by the OS? since W7 has max 20 session limitation.

Probably yes.

If you are using a PC/Workstation(guessing because no server OS) you don't want 20 sessions anyways. PC/Workstations are not build for that. Bad experience here with those kind of "Servers"

nowadays workstation hardware can be very powerful. I just to know if the OS limitation will affect QlikSense. Since Qliksense does not use IIS or windows file connections.

A new workstation with W7?

haven't seen any of those around.

And still they might be powerful but for more than 20 users you are demanding Alot from the machine.

Will advice you not to be going this route. But thats your own choice.

Can't be sure about the OS limitations though, hope someone else can help you with this one.

I found some clues.

The EULA clearly states the limit is 20 *devices* NOT TCP connections, and it's only a limit on devices connected to "file services, print services, Internet information services, and Internet connection sharing and telephony services"

So if QlikSense acts as a standalone server without using services mentioned above, it may not be limited.
