QlikSense Server on IIS

Hi All,

We have 2 Servers one for Qlikview & other for QlikSense.

The Server running Qlikview is having reverse IP enabled and can be accessed by Public Internet.

I would like to host the QlikSense site on the same server, though the installation is done on other server but they are in the same LAN network, is it possible  ? How can you please suggest ?

Moreover I couldnt find the index.html file or Hub.html or anykind of Web folder in the QlikSense installation.

Even unable to trace as to from where these files are coming (QMC & QlikSense Hub shortcuts which are default placed on desktop)

Thanks,

Swapneel

Re: QlikSense Server on IIS

Swapneel,

Qlik Sense content is served from the Qlik Sense Proxy.  There is no IIS component.  It is not recommended to install Qlik Sense on the same server as IIS because you will run into port conflicts and will need to run web services for either IIS or Qlik Sense from another port.

What you could do is set up a proxy on the IIS server that forwards from an address resolved on the IIS server to the Qlik Sense server to connect users to Qlik Sense content from one location.  You would do this using Application Request Routing and URL Rewrite in IIS.
