QlikSense - Value upon Hover (Text as pop-up)

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to create chart objects in QlikSense. In most of my requirement i need some values to be displayed when hovered but not displayed within chart. Its something like text-as-pop-up. Kindly suggest how do i achieve this by using default chart objects else ay extension supporting such feature is also fine.

This is the default behavior of the line/area chart... hovering over a point displays its value even if data points are off.

You don't indicate which version you are on, so you may need to upgrade for this feature; works for me in 3.2 SR3

Thanks for the reply. I am not speaking about hover value display when there exists a line/area map. Let me explain in more details.

Assume i have a stacked bar chart. It displays the value of each stacked component when hovered upon. However, i wish to see the total value of complete stacked bar. So this total value should come only upon hover but it shall not be displayed anywhere in chart. Or as an another example, assume i have a line chart which shows actual and forecast, however upon hovering i wish to the difference between my actual and forecast. So is this possible to achieve?
