QlikSense connection does not work with my Qlik.com ident/password?

Hi everybody,

 

I have a Virtual Machine where I need to test QlikSense to validate future installation.

The user/password I use to connect to qlik.com does not work (I have internet access on this VM).

I have the message "erroneous user or password".

Is this normal?

Hi,

what are you testing? Qlik Sense Desktop or Qlik Sense Enterprise?

Try to connect with the administrator account of your VM.

I'm already connected with the administrator account of my VM.

I meant connect to Qlik with the Administrator account.

Qlik Sense uses the active directory of your machine as user DB.
Try to find your active directory ( on My Computer > Right Click > Properties )
And enter ACTIVEDIRECTORYNAME\Administrator as login and your administrator password.

Thanks for your help.

Not sure I understand what you mean. I've found the domain/admin and used this to connect to QlikSense Desktop with the domain/admin password and still doesn't work.

I don't see how this could work as when I connect to QlikSense, I choose :

"connect with a Qlik account" ?
