Hi guys,
I'm trying to install QlikSense desktop 2.2.4 on windows 10 pro with no success. After it failed and i tried again, it wanted to upgrade the current version, which i first tried to uninstall only to get the message "This version of Qlik Sense Desktop cannot be installed on the current version of Windows", So i'm not even able to remove it. Halfway through the upgrade, it fails presenting me with the same message. There are no folders for QlikSense in my program files, I have no idea how to remove it to attempt a fresh install. I've read around that people have it working on Windows 10 Pro, so I really doubt the problem is from the OS.
Can someone help me please?

Hi bashar_f,
Did you get this error fixed? i've got the same issue. I'm forced to upgrade, but after upgrading Qlik Sense Desktop 2.2.4 doesn't work anymore.
I just tried different things, but what works for me is removing the folder c:\users\<your username>\documents\qlik. I just made a backup, because in the folder my qvf files exist. So later i can add the .qvf's into the new qlik folder.

Hi Anton,
Unfortunately, i never got this fixed, I just started using Qlik Cloud as a workaround in the meantime until I get the chance to maybe format my laptop back to Windows 8.1.
I tried removing the folders you mentioned, but I still cant uninstall it.
This is the message.

Hi Maria,
Did installing Sense 3.0 work? I downloaded it today and tried installing it, but it just fails at the end with that same window popping up.

Hi Bashar Al-Khalili
Yes, Sense 3.0 worked.
But there is a issue yet. The username on your computer may not have spaces !!
Example : "ClauBaseggio" and not "Clau Baseggio".
Take care about this. I had to create a new user and install Sense again. So it worked.
