QlikSense extensions makes system slow/hang?

Hi All,

I am developing an app that has the extensions. The extension size is approximately 80MB. When I start QlikSense it makes the system slow or hangs. Does this has any relation with the extensions?

Am i using very big size extension?

Is there any ideal size of extension that keeps QlikSense performance (and laptops) fine ?

Please advice

Generalizing I believe not..

Prefer stable and with some feedbacks extensions ... Remember that Qlik consumes memory, the more information this extension presents, the more it will consume.

I really like using the extensions of climber.

Hi,

Are you using internal extension or third party extension. What is this extension used for in your dashboard ?

Have you tried using the same extension for some other application and tested its performance?

I believe that if you use for exemple the climber custom report,  yes , depending on the size of the number of dimensions and metrics...

Extensions for big number indicators believe it does not affect performance.

Hey Pablo,

I am sorry, I have not heard about climber custom report. I have used extensions like:

https://github.com/stefanwalther/sense-navigation

https://github.com/ChristofSchwarz/QSExtension_SetObjectState`

https://github.com/mcgovey/Qlik-Sense-MyTabs-Extension

https://github.com/ajaykakkar93/QlikSense-Sheet-Styler-Lite

So, you are saying it might not affect the performance of the qlik sense report
