Qliksense App id to app name

Dear all,

Is it possible to assign an name instead of app id for the apps in C:\QLIK\Apps folder.

Instead of e688e9a2-d486-4109-80c7-fafbbf92f1ea 

i want to assign a name.

Qlik server always use id of the application.

In desktop it is name

Dear Arvind and Paul,

I have almost 240 applications in my hub.But i need only 40 applications remaining i want to move it to the backup folder.Its hard to find the file using file id.Is it any alternate way?

Please go to the Dev-Hub

Single

chose application and note down its id in notepad

Then create text file with ID and name of all application it will take 15 min only

After that refer that text file and move unwanted application into backup

Hi Joshua,

Open the Operations Monitor, go to the Apps sheet

Here you will find a object called App Details export this to excel

Make a backup of all you apps, and paste the Excel file in the backup folder

Are the apps you want to keep al published apps?

Then you can filter the Apps view in QMC to not published. Select all remaining apps and delete them
