is there any task scheduled?

Qlik Sense probably does not free memory, but keeps it allocated for itself. This should be no problem unless you want to run other resource hungry software like a database management system on the same server (which is a bad idea anyway). If you feel more comfortable with lots of free ram on your server then restart the Qlik Sense services often or add more ram. You won't see any effect on performance though. It's just for your peace of mind. Qlik Sense will run fine regardless.

Ok, let's try that again:

This blog post The QlikView Cache by hic‌ might help you understand why the ram is utilized even when you have no active users.

Quote:

  • Memory is not returned, when the document is unloaded. Cache entries will usually not be purged until the RAM usage is close to or has reached the lower working set limit. QlikView will then purge some entries and re-use the memory for other cache entries. This behavior sometimes makes people believe there is a memory leak in the product. But have no fear – it should be this way. So, you do not need to restart the service to clear the cache.
