Qliksense Installation Error (1603)

Hey there,

I'm planing to move our report tools OracleBI  to QlickWep.(Due to costs) I just wanna check out whats in it and downloaded free desktop version and boom. I don't even managed to install it.

I know its duplicated question but id din't find any proper way to fix error 1603.

OP: Win10/64bit Pro.

1-)I have administrator right on my comp.

2-)Change installation paths.

3-)have c++ redistributable (x86/x64) on my pc.

Ps: I did try everything in forum.

Could you attach the installation log for further clarity whats the actual error its spelled.

check will this machine contains proper security or windows licence and they are updated also

Could you attach the whole logs instead? the bottom of the log, won't tell me much.

Maybe this information can helps somebody. If you get error 1603 in log file you may down slider in you User Account Control Settings and restart setup with "As Administrator" option.

For the records... None of solution worked for me... We are currently working on licensed web version in our company.

If i didn't know how qlik app working good, i wouldn't able to use QlikSense and buy it.

Developers need to make proper setup files for new customers or who need this app.

Hi,

I have the same error

I try to make a new installation, on a fresh win2019 server 1809.

There is no PostgreSQL installed on this server, but I have each time the same error (I've tried 3 times)

Logs are attached as zipped file

Problem fixed, I have had my service_account user as local admin of the server.
