Qliksense app data volume etc.

Dear community,

we are looking at the possibilities to develop a few dashboards to the app. Because we have not yet set up our server to be accessed from outside (security reasons), Qlik can currently only be used from within our network.

Now we are curious what your ideas are regarding data volume, does this make a lot of difference to the speed of the app? (We have apps around 800MB).

Do you make special apps for the app?

Is the download speed still reasonable or does it take a long time?

What are your general ideas about the tablet app?

Hi,

I would only advice to go for the app when offline possibilities are needed. Why don't you use VPN to connect to your internal network?

It takes time of course, but as always.. it depends.. on a lot of factors.

About the app it self, Qlik Sense is fully responsive, so designing one for an app is not really needed. You can just adjust your current dashboard and show it on a mobile device and it will render nicely.
