Qlikview Connection String in Sense

Hi All,

I have a quick questions,

1. can we use Qlikview connection string in Qlik Sense (not LIB one)?

2. In Qlikview we can assign a variable for Connection string. In Qlik sense how to assign a variable to Connection String.

Hari,

You can but you have to put Sense in Legacy Mode.

In the QMC, under the Advanced properties for the engine you can uncheck the standard mode option.

This is for Sense Server.

Hari,

Sorry for not getting back to you but I believe that this is the only way.  Creating connections gives you the ability to secure them and grant access based on a role, etc.
