Qliskense connection with MySQL Community Server

Hi  All,

i 'm working in  Qlik sense server  and need to extract data from MySQL Community Server.

What is the right process and connector to use .

MySql Enterprise edition or Odbc ?

I think you have to do the test to see which one is more performatic, the last case I had to work with MySQL the ODBC connection was faster

Do  i need any connector for Odbc to  MY SQL server .

Do i need to create DSN connection  for  that , if yes  then it has to be my system or server where Qlik is installed.

you can use the drive available on the website
https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/

settings must be made where Qlik is installed

So process is like i  install the Mysql drivers and then go on Qlik server  create system DSN using My sql and  then use those connection  right ?

Yes,

in case I worked, I just installed the mysql drive on the computer where Qlik is installed
I created the connection in windows
and I made the connection in Qlik

worked well
