Regarding QVD

After creating a qvd, and then store right.  My qvd 's are stored in the adobe acrobat. When I tried to open I am getting an error it's not opening.

It seems that your default 'open with..' program has been set to acrobat. If so, you have to probably change the registry value to remove this (I don't know a short cut without that). However, that doesn't resolve the issue for you. The fact is that - you can't open your qvds directly from the file itself by double clicking (unless you have custom application like 'Qviewer' or so). Ideally, you should use the qlik software itself to 'check' the qvd data, or just check for the file size may be.

Hello,

Can you please elaborate further in what do you mean by "stored in the adobe acrobat" ? Do you mean that the default software for QVDs is set to "Acrobat Reader"? When you say "When I tried to open I am getting an error it's not opening", do you mean that the Acrobat Reader is trying to open the QVD and raising the error?

It will also help, if you can share with us the screenshot of the error that you are getting and how the QVD file looks like when it is saved on your machine
