Reload failed in Engine

Hi Qlik experts..

Has anyone come across the issue where Qlik Sense scheduled tasks fail in QMC and no document log is generated?
If I check the default log path (i.e. C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Script), the log doesn't exist for the relevant app id and it also doesn't exist in the archive folder (i.e. D:\QlikSense\QlikShare\ArchivedLogs\(server)\Script).

In QMC, all it says is "Reload failed in Engine. Check engine or script logs".. If I search "C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Engine" for any logs containing the relevant app id, there's nothing either..

I've checked, the server has plenty of space for apps and logs and there are ample resources in terms of memory and the CPU.

If I use a manual reload via QMC, it goes through. The scheduled task fails, but it's definitely linked to the correct app etc. It fails when the trigger starts it and also when I manually trigger it..

There is no section access involved.

I've even recreated the scheduled task and it still does the same.. But a task created from going to apps - more actions - reload now, runs fine (the manual task I was referring to before).

I also tried converting a manual created task to a scheduled one and then the same happens.

I deleted the published app and deleted all related tasks. Published a new one from my work stream and created a new task. Tried a reload and got the same failure.

Hi,

We encounter the same issue as PhilipMertin, but we have nu issues with the monitoring app. How is resetting the monitoring app a solution for a failed reload of an other app?

Can you please explain this?

Kind regards,

Mm
