Report Format Layout

I am new to Qliksense and need some advice in report format layout.

I have a table with category as dimension(catgery1,catgery2,catgery3...), and my measures are the

count(column ) for current year,

counts(column ) prevous year,

counts(column ) previous 2 year,

difference in counts # between current year and (column 2) previous year

difference in counts #  between previous year and previous 2 year

differecne in counts # between previous 2Yr-previous 3YR

difference in % between current year and (column 2) previous year

difference in % between previous year and previous 2 year

differecne in % between previous 2Yr-previous 3YR

Total fees for current year,

Total fees previous year,

Total fees previous 2 year,

difference inTotal fees between current year and (column 2) previous year

difference in Total fees  between previous year and previous 2 year

difference in Total fees between previous 2Yr-previous 3YR

difference in Total fees % between current year and (column 2) previous year

difference in Total fees % between previous year and previous 2 year

difference in Total fees % between previous 2Yr-previous 3YR

I have a filter pane in my report, with Year column . For whatever year picked by user, my counts and Difference # and difference % should change accordingly. And they are chaging accordngly. But my report layout is turning into a wide report with alll the measure coming in a very long row for each category...

But instead i want something like the one i depicted in excel..please take a look at the attahed Excel sheet for reference. ....From a wide table ..i need to change it into a narrow table..can anyone help me in this

Thanks a lot,

Neelima

If you are using a straight table you don't have a lot of options for the format.  QS does it automatically.

You might want to try using a pivot table instead.  That may work better for you.

Hi Neelima,

You need to have the category and measures in the Rows and Year in the columns.

You can have your expression as a measure.
