Sense doesn't display images

Hi everyone,

My question is how can I make Sense Server to display images on an app created using Sense Desktop and added some images, I mean once the app are imported and published on Sense Server all the images in the app are missing (not Displayed).

Using Sense Desktop:

Img00.jpg

Img000.jpg

After import and publish via Sense Server:

Img01.jpg

Img02.jpg

Is this a bug or what do I have to do to display this images on Sense Server apps?

Emmanuelle,

The images in Sense Server are stored a little differently.  In Desktop they are copied to a folder location and in Sense Server they must be updated to a Content Library.

All you need to do is upload the images into the content library and they will be available for use.

To accomplish this, from sense server QMC, select content library.

Select1.png

Then, Upload you images.  (There is only one library by default.)

Upload.png

Once your images have been uploaded, you can add them to your application and then re-publish.

Hello,

Please ensure you uploaded your images on the server (in the QMC: go to "content libraries" /select a library/ upload file button)

you'll be able to use the  uploaded image in your application.

Kind Regards

Majdi,

I think there may be an issue with your security rule.

I created a test content library named KBC Test and uploaded an image for testing.  I then created a simple rule the only granted read access to myself.

By doing this, I can test to make sure I have access to the contents and can read the contents.

You may want to delete your current rule and create a simple rule to test.  After this can be verified, you can build upon the simple rule.

Hi.

What if I want to see images that are located in another server, and there are a lot of images (like one for each employee, or a list of products), and i want to show them dynamically, and I just can't importe them all to the QMC. ?????

thanks a lot for your help

Martha,

I believe that they only way you can do this is by importing the images.  You may need top open a case with support for a definite answer.  Sorry I can't be more help.
