Show different values based on one date field

Hello 

I´m quite new to the hole Qlik Sense world, so I hope to get some help..

I have two different excel sheets both containing a range of dates and a corresponding value (names etc).

I have a bar chart showing the value from both sheets, these I would like to be able to filter based on a common date field - one for month and another for years.

In addition the one sheet also have some reference texts presented in a table below, these should also be filtered based on the same common date field.

I hope the above makes sense, and I hope you are able to help.

If there is a link to each table, You can define Month and Year from the Date Field like

Load DateField, Month(DateField) as Month, Year(DateField) as Year ....

There, you can call dimensions or filter box any where.
