New to Qlik Sense

Hello everyone,

I know that this extension has the ability to enable a default selection...but I do not really know how to write this expression. Has anyone used this feature? Any help would be appreciated.

Do you want to force a default selection to an existing field in your tables?

If that's the case, I just use add the field name in "Field or variable name" box within Dimensions, and then the value to be selected in the "Select this one as default" box within Selections.

For me it works with just the text values straight up, no quotes or anything like that.
