Single select (no default value selected) without using "Always one value selected"

Hi All,

Can we restrict user from selecting more than one value in a filter pane and don't want to use "Always one value selected" because this will brings one selected value by default.

Kindly suggest any possible solution, also don't want to display a message like "please select one value" if user selected more than one value.

Reason is, might be in future extension may not work as expected in updated versions of Qliksense.

I am sorry but I don't know any other good solution for it. 

You can make other chart not render if none or more than one is selected but it is far from ideal. 

To be honest I am using linked extension and across all of the updates we went through never had issues with it. 

Even if there is an issue in the future I am sure that you will find someone to help you modify code a little.
