Sort Expression in Qlik Sense for Graph

Hi Experts,

Below is the Bar graph where i want to sort the graph as per category, first target and then Sales...if you can see below it is jumping when sales is higher than the target. i have tried the below expression but does not work...

if(ValueList('Target','Sales') = 'Target', 1,
if(ValueList('Target','Sales') = 'Sales', 2))

Valuelist is not bound to the data in any way, so I don't its a good candidate for controlling the sorting. It looks like you also have a sort by value set on this object. Remove that and sort by text instead.

Check if the sorting is at the top

See the snapshot below after changing the category to custom and sorting is as Alphabetical Order descending...it worked.
