I have the attached qvf with the table in it. I am having sorting issue due to use of above function..
I need to sort the numbers by the middle column descending.
Also, I need another table with the same values but only the top five values of the middle column .. sorted by highest on top..
Anyone can help?
I've added sort by expression on the date column and created a top 5 for you.
Hope this resolves your problem
Thank you for your help. but I think I tried this option and faced an issue.
if you look at the file I attached the numbers show for Aug 16 is $0.23 and for Sep 16 is $0.29. (Correct Numbers)
When you apply sort by expression and show top 5 these numbers change and now Aug 16 shows $0.29 and Sep 16 shows null value..
Same thing applies on other dates and the reason is because I use above function but no sure what is the solution..
I think you may well have to do the calculations in the script.
Haven't got enough time to build a sample now but can maybe put something together either later or tomorrow morning.
I would have done it in the script but the table in my sample is a result of the user selections so the solution needs to be applied on the UI side.
I think i may have resolved the issue.
Please check and let me know if that is what you required.
I've only changed the expression in the middle column, however i'm sure the right column will probably require the same logic.

Did you get a chance to look at the sample app?
Has it solved the requirements?
