Sorting order of Bar Chart not working on Date field

Hi All,

I am facing an issue for sorting order of a Bar chart in Qlik Sense app. Added one date(M/D/YYYY) column as dimension and sum(Sales) as an expression. Would like to set sorting order ascending on date column. Same functionality is working fine for a Table and Filter Pane object. Please refer the below screen shot.

For all 3 objects sorting order has been set as Custom-> Sort numerically Ascending and sorting order of the Measure in table/Chart has been made disabled.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Hi Some, maybe it's sorting by load order of sales, in the right margin, on 'Sorting' -> try drag & drop 'Week Ending' before 'Sales'.

Use Sort by Expression and put Date Field and Select Ascending.

I tried sort by expression, but it did not work.

Reordering of the sorting columns worked as expected.
