Starting with a default filter

Hello,

I have a filter pane for year and a separate chart that displays amount. I want to have it start with year 2015 data. How can I set it so that it starts with only 2015 data?

Put an action from triggers as Select in Field and specify 2015, you will see only 2015

Seona  are you working with QLik Sense desktop or enterprise server ? 

If you save the dashboard in desktop with a selection made, it should save the selection state and make that the default when you open it next.

For server, if you publish an app with the selection state applied in 'my work' it should also default the same way.

Why don't you create a bookmark in Sense with your filters you want pre selected and save this so users can return to this default state when they want.
