Task is continuously running

Hi.. All,

I'm working on Qlik Serse Enterprise and have imported an app after that i created a task, while i have started this task it is continuously running from last 4 hrs.

Can any buddy help me why it is occurring and how can i manage this issue.

Have you checked in the backend is that Query still running ?

Check if you have any deadlock or wait in your query.

Is it a task based of another task or an independent task for an application?

If you do not have a loop script in your qvf file then it should either fail or success.

Delete that task, create a new one and try it again?

If it still happens then check your qvf script.

We had faced the same issues & now it got resolved.

You will need to remove the  Reload file from

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\TaskResults

You will need to remove the  Reload task log file from  the below location 

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\TaskResults

File name i.e : TaskResult_e6bcba42-95e4-4406-86e1-ac7caf4cb8ef.xml.

Once you remove the file then restart the Management service & Distribution Service.
