Testing my Fiscal Calendar

Good morning or evening all

I was wondering if someone can assist me with the process on how to effectively test my Fiscal Calendar script?

I wrote a script to set my fiscal year beginning on October 1st and ending September 30th for a project I am working on. However when I try to test the calendar by bring in the YearField and MonthField into a straight table, the months still line up from Jan to Dec. Is that expected?  I am doing something wrong? How do I conduct this test effectively.

Thank you for you time and consideration

Sincerely,
