Timeline / Gantt - How to create without an extension

Hi,

Now that the Timeline extension by Ralph Bleacher has been removed from the Qlik Branch (he now charges 125 euros per month for it!) what are the alternatives for creating a timeline / gantt in Qlik Sense?

I am unable to use the google timeline extension as it is listed as unsupported.

Does anyone have an example of a timeline using a piviot table?

Its a paid for extension (125 euros per month) that I can't justify at work for 1 developer.

No, for Single user 5 extensions are free.

Its a VizLib marketplace app - so not included in the 'free' apps. It has a 30 day only trial.
